Randy walking golf course

Randy Morgan - Owner/Operator

I have worked in the golf business for over 30 years. I am a 3rd generation in the golf industry as my grandfather was a golf course superintendent and my mother caddied at the same golf course when she was a kid. My uncle Chris Burns is a Lifetime member of the PGA and one his many pupils includes Stewart Cink, the winner of the 2009 British Open. My brother Kenny Morgan is a golf course superintendent and my other brother Dennis Morgan is an Assistant Golf Pro.

I offer custom fitting and a wide variety of golf club repairs including regripping, reshafting and loft and lie adjustments. I have a Vector Pro launch monitor that I can use to fit you to the correct loft and shaft in your driver that will help you get those longer and straighter drives on the course. I carry some of the game's best equipment with Taylormade, Ping, Adams, and Wilson as well as many of the needed accessories.

I enjoy golf as a personal and family activity. I look forward to helping others get more enjoyment out of this fun and challenging game.

History

Opened in June 2009, as "Randy's Custom Golf Clubs and Repair", the shop started out in downtown Morganton.

In May of 2014, new opportunities presented a chance to expand. Randy moved the shop out to a location that offers customers a wider range of services and renamed the business to the "Riverside Golf and RV Park".

Riverside Golf and RV Park offers something for all types of golfers. Whether you are just getting started or a serious pro.

Randy stocks new and pre-owned clubs, golf balls, bags, clothing and many other accessories in the pro shop you'll need on the course. And now with his new location you will be able to test out new drivers and irons right on the driving range.

Hurricane Helene in Sept of 2024 brought massive flooding to Western NC. Riverside Golf and RV Park was unfortunately flooded out by the unprecedented flood waters not seen in 100 years. The business there was closed at it's former location, but re-opened once again as Randy's Custom Clubs and Golf Repair at a new location in Forest City. More information to follow!
